Philippe Massé, double bassist, composer and performer, is part of the new wave of Canadian jazz musicians.

Fond of traditional acoustic music, he performs almost exclusively in trios and quartets to play his compositions which address themes that are close to his daily life and that are close to him, such as nature, a sunrise or nocturnal ballads in the depths of the night, in short the joys of a few ephemeral things.

Composer and multi-instrumentalist for almost 10 years, Philippe Massé is a multi-talented artist who wishes to convey all kinds of emotions through his sometimes violent, sometimes touching music.
